Milan's outstanding young midfielder Kaka was undoubtedly the Rossoneri’s saviour last week, and the Brazilian admits the atmosphere created by the Old Trafford crowd proved to be an inspiration.
Speaking before the must-win game at the San Siro, Kaka said: “The game at Old Trafford was a real spectacle and I'm convinced the second leg will be another amazing game – perhaps even more amazing than the first match.
“It was a wonderful show for the fans and it could be another one on Wednesday. I was hugely impressed by the atmosphere inside Old Trafford.
“Even at half-time when they were losing 2-1, the United fans were still singing and getting behind their team. I'm sure our fans will show the same kind of spirit as United fans displayed.”
Kaka’s goals at Old Trafford last Tuesday were his eighth and ninth of the competition, making him the Champions League’s leading goalscorer, but he will be keen to make his scoring run count with victory at the Giuseppe Meazza.
